Portrait of Lucile Cazanave

Behind the work

There's me.

A brand designer for 12 years, I grew up with Netatmo: from graphic designer in 2014 to Lead Creative Designer, I owned the brand end to end (its new identity, the segmentation of its product ranges, the launch of its products) with a team of 3 to 6 designers. Trained in product design, I now design experiences from user research to a coded site, where brand meets product, with AI as an everyday working tool.

How I work

Understand before designing

Start from the users, the business goals and the constraints.

Systems, not isolated visuals

Every choice has to hold up across all touchpoints, from packaging to screen.

Making complex things simple

From a connected device to a checkout flow: get to the point, so everyone understands at first glance.

AI as an everyday tool

Explore faster, prototype sooner, and stay in control of every choice.

2017-2026

Lead Creative Designer, Netatmo (a Legrand brand)

  • Initiated the rebranding after the Legrand acquisition, from the first workshops to the unveiling at CES 2019. The logo is still in use seven years on.
  • Rolled out the identity across 100+ assets, in 6+ languages and 15+ countries; brand book delivered with an agency, teams and subsidiaries trained on the guidelines.
  • Segmentation of the Initial, Original and Advance ranges (2025), from in-store packaging to online shopping.
  • Product launches: art direction and 11 deliverable families, with 10+ stakeholders (PMs, POs, CRM, acquisition, VPs).
  • Brand and product: icons for the 4 apps and visuals for in-app installation flows, with the Lead UI/UX Designer; consultant on the redesign that merged the website and e-shop (brand, flows, mockups).
  • Consumer tests before launch and campaign tracking (clicks, conversions, A/B tests) to refine the creative.
  • Managed and mentored the creative team (designers, interns, freelancers).

2014-2017

Graphic Designer, Netatmo

  • Unified the brand across every touchpoint (B2C, B2B, retail).
  • Turned connected-device features into clear, educational visuals.

2008-2013

My strengths

Taking the initiative

Netatmo's rebranding? I launched it on my own initiative.

Passing it on

I've managed designers, interns and freelancers, and trained subsidiaries on the brand guidelines.

Curiosity

After 12 years in the field, I trained in product design. And I learn something new with AI every day.

Attention to detail

100+ assets, 6 languages, 15 countries: the same high standards everywhere.
